Hi CPR! This is our dog Rowand! Formally known as #551 when we adopted him from you back on May 17, 2014. He is one of the best decisions we ever made. He is such an important part of our family and soon he will be getting a human little brother! Unfortunately, Rowand was diagnosed with epilepsy this past January. He is still experiencing grand Mal cluster seizures every few weeks so we're working closely with his vet to figure out the appropriate medication dosage for him. It is hard to watch him experience these seizures, but outside of his seizures, he is still the awesome, loving, and mellow dog we brought home from picking him up off of Lliff Ave a little over two years ago! My husband and I just consider ourselves so lucky to have Rowand in our family. As we've heard, many dogs that come from shelters that have neurological deficits such as epilepsy like our dog, will often be euthanized. I couldn't imagine a life without our dog. He is worth every penny to finding the medication that will keep his quality of life to its best potential. I just want to personally thank you for rescuing our dog and bringing him to Colorado from Cuba, New Mexico. Who knows where our Rowand would be if CPR did not find him.
